We are expecting this next year to be full of excitement. We have so many plans and goals to achieve, and we can’t wait to share them with you. 2023 was filled with swimsuits, cool waters, time together, holiday lights, and much laughter from friends as they played games and made memories. We got to know new people, who became our friends, through all the amazing activities that were planned.

Abita Springs was able to snag James Hattan from Tres Rios Resort. Before James came to work with us, he worked in manufacturing management. Many of these skills he picked up while he was enlisted in the Army in the bomb squad. He was stationed for a few years in Panama. Today, James is enjoying getting to know many of our members and traveling across the US with his wife. If you haven’t had the chance to meet James, come stay a while and tell him “Hi!” and thank him for his service.

The next year of activities are going to be packed. Whether you want to lounge around the pool, read a book next to the campfire, or take a walk around the ponds with the kids, we will be ready for you. Keep an eye out for the monthly calendars. We have been very busy this year at Abita Springs.

We were busy fixing up the cabins and have completely remodeled several to give our guests a better nights sleep. Many projects are in the works for this next year to continue improving our resort. We have made the entrance into the park a bit easier to check in. We’ve also cleaned up the current walking trails and have started to bring back a few trails from the past. Let’s make 2024 another awesome year! We look forward to making more memories with all of you and your loved ones.
